Despite rumors of Ciara’s newest album, Basic Instinct, being pushed back yet again, the R&B songstress was all smiles backstage at the Power 105.1 “Power Live” Concert at Governor’s Island this past weekend in New York City.

Positives about this look? I dig the yellow nail polish, and the Alexander Wang heels. My biggest issue though, is the skirt, and it’s not even the camouflage print that’s making me look twice. It’s the shape of the skirt. The flared out shape, along with the ruffles are a bit too young for Ciara, and the flared hem competes with the knee high boots. A simple mini skirt with the same print as this one, would’ve pulled the look together much better.
