In the face of Pigeon-Gate, Kings of Leon are soldiering on with a new single, followed by a new album, coming out this fall. The “Sex on Fire” rockers will deliver the follow-up to 2008’s blockbuster Only by the Night on October 18 in the U.K. and October 19 in the U.S.

The Franklin, Tennessee, band’s fifth studio album is titled Come Around Sundown, and will feature the single “Radioactive.” The song is set to hit the airwaves in early October, but fans might be hearing it sooner due to a planned single release in Australia on September 9.

Kings of Leon again teamed up with Only by the Night producers Angelo Petraglia and Jacquire King, and they recorded the album at New York’s Avatar Studios. A special edition of the Come Around Sundown reportedly will feature live tracks, including some from a show at London’s Hyde Park on June 30.
